Tree Anchoring Systems and Tree Planting in Landesgartenschau Germany

			Landesgartenschau, the largest bi-annual event on the German Landscape calender, has recently taken place in Ostfildern. In preparation, these horsechestnut trees were planted, before the rest of the site was developed. It was imperative that these trees look established before the grand opening and Platipus RF3 rootball fixing kits were recommended, after anchor pull-out tests across the site. The trees are 8 metres tall, with girths of 60cm. Installation time for the RF3 kits was around 35 minutes per tree.
