| Cast iron is stronger than aluminium which makes it suitable for installation in harder ground using medium and heavy installation equipment. As ordinary flake cast iron is brittle material and could not withstand the impact produced by heavy duty installation equipment, we use a more ductile form of cast iron, known as, 'Cast Spheroidal Graphite Iron'. The anchors are then hot dip galvanised, providing a zinc coating with medium to long term corrosion resistance. | ||||||||||||
