SOFT EYE This type of termination can only be used with a ground anchor which has an eye. An aluminium ferrule is used with plastic impregnated wire tendon.
					T-LOC The main advantage of this type of termination is the flexibility it gives for on-site ground anchor system assembly. All sizes of the 'Bat' anchor have been designed to T-Loc specification. The T-Loc is secured in the ground anchor using a T-Wedge.
					ENVIRONMENTAL SEALS To enable an aluminium ferrule and a galvanised T-Loc to be swaged onto plastic impregnated wire tendon, the outer covering of the plastic must be stripped to expose the galvanised wire tendon underneath. Consequently the swaged ferrule, T-Loc and exposed wire tendon are covered and environmentally sealed using a heat shrink sleeve. The sleeve ensures that water cannot penetrate into the galvanised wire tendon, maintaining the plastic impregnated wire tendons resistance to corrosion.
