DRIVE RODS
The drive rod is produced from heat treated steel bar. The drive end is machined to fit into ground anchors in the 'Stealth' range. The drive head is available in two designs suitable for either hand or powered installation.

The drive head is rounded for installation using a postrammer or sledgehammer. Hand drive rods are available in the following sizes:-
The drive head is shanked to fit a percussive breaker. Power drive rods are available in the following configurations:-
Designed for the utility industry the ER1 rod set allows convenient and easy transportation of a multi-piece drive rod set along electrification and telecommunication networks. Supplied in a durable PVC bag the ER1 rod set consists of a drive end, 3 couplers, 2 rods sections and a shank.

  POWER PACK AND BREAKERS  
  The power pack is used to power the hydraulic percussive breakers and loadlocking units. It has an output of 30 lpm (8gpm) and a pressure rating of 2000 psi (140 bar). Any reduction in these values will notably inhibit performance.

The correct choice of breaker will depend on the size of ground anchor and ground conditions. A 20-25kg breaker is usually adequate to install Stealth anchors, while a 35-40kg breaker is normally required to install Bat anchors. The efficiency of the power pack and breaker will determine the installation time of an anchor system.
