ROD
REMOVERS Rod removers are used to remove drive rods in light and medium installations. Slide both rod removers onto the first drive rod and pull upwards until the entire drive rod or multi-piece drive rod set has been extracted from the ground. |

ROD REMOVAL
CLAMP If unable to remove drive rods using rod removers then a rod removal clamp should be used. The clamp is attached to a manual stressing jack or to the back hoe of on-site machinery. The pulling force applied to the clamp causes the cam to grip the drive rod. This will enable the most immovable drive rods to be removed. |
