The S10, B4 and B6 anchors are generally associated with a medium percussive installation. These earth anchors require more powerful hand held hydraulic percussive breakers to install them. Loadlocking is completed using a manual hydraulic stressing kit providing proof loads up to 100kN.

Where ground conditions are hard or large quantities of earth anchors are to be installed this type of equipment can also be used to install the S6 and S8 anchors.

STAGE ONE - DRIVING THE EARTH ANCHOR
Drive the earth anchor system into the ground to the required installation depth.
 
STAGE TWO - REMOVING THE RODS
Remove the drive rod from the body of the earth anchor, either by hand or using rod removing equipment.
 
STAGE THREE - LOADLOCKING
Loadlock the earth anchor system into its working position by applying a load to the wire tendon.
