Anchoring Systems

S4V1 / S6V1

Platipus earth anchoring systems are a perfect solution for trellising, soft fruit and protection applications. The chisel drive point and streamlined shape of the anchors make installation easy, in most cases, using simple hand or power tools. A range of anchoring systems is available that can provide an ultimate holding capacity from 500kg up to 3500kg, depending on soil conditions. Our anchors perform exceptionally well in granular soils, stony ground and most chalks, often allowing a smaller size of anchor to be used. In weaker cohesive soils, like soft alluvial clays, a larger anchor may be needed.
